Hi, I’m Amy Hancock, AMFT#145979
Maybe this sounds familiar — you’re juggling work deadlines, school activities, family responsibilities, or social pressures, and then life throws a curveball. It can feel overwhelming, exhausting, and hard to manage at times. You don’t have to go through it alone.
That’s where I come in. Together, we explore techniques ranging from heartfelt conversations to practical tools that support stronger connections and a more fulfilling life. My journey as a therapist began with the belief that no person should have to face challenges by themselves.
I hold a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and have received extensive clinical training in a variety of therapeutic modalities. Throughout my experience, I have worked with diverse populations, including children, families, and individuals navigating communication challenges, trauma, grief, and major life transitions. I believe deeply in inner strength and resiliency and strive to empower clients to trust themselves and their ability to make meaningful life choices.
I am dedicated to creating a safe, non-judgmental, and inclusive space where clients can explore and express their thoughts and feelings freely. I use a client-led approach and integrate evidence-based strategies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused techniques, always tailoring interventions to each individual’s needs. It is an honor to walk alongside clients on their journey toward healing and growth, and I look forward to supporting you and your loved ones.
