Hi, I’m Maddie Perez, AMFT#161233

Hi, I'm Maddie! I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) with a passion for helping children, teens, and adults feel seen, supported, and empowered. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University.

My journey into therapy began with a deep sense of empathy for others because I understand what it feels like to face challenges and long for a safe place to be heard. I believe that healing begins when we feel genuinely seen, and it is a privilege to walk alongside clients as they navigate life's difficulties.

I have experience working with diverse populations and supporting clients facing  anxiety, depression, trauma, communication difficulties, and life transitions. I enjoy helping clients develop practical tools and coping skills that empower them both inside and outside of therapy.

My therapeutic approach is person-centered and client-led, which means I believe you are the expert of your own story. I strive to meet each individual exactly where they are, creating a space that feels welcoming, encouraging, and free of judgment. I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), strengths-based techniques, and creative art therapy interventions to make healing engaging and meaningful.

I look forward to walking alongside you, equipping you with tools for growth, celebrating your wins, and helping you navigate life's challenges with hope and confidence.
