Hi, Iām Lisa Diaz, AMFT#153089, APCC#19123
Saying the hardest things out loud can feel scary, especially in the presence of another person. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive space where taking that step feels less isolating and more manageable. In this journey, you are not alone.
My passion for becoming a therapist grew from my own lived experiences navigating grief, loss, and trauma. I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University and have had the honor of working with diverse populations, including adolescents, adults, and families. I pride myself on fostering a non-judgmental space where people feel accepted, valued, and supported as whole individuals.
I take an integrative approach to therapy, tailoring techniques to meet each client wherever they are in their journey. I incorporate evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative Therapy and am trained in trauma-based interventions to support clients experiencing PTSD and varying levels of trauma. Being a therapist and making a meaningful difference in the lives of my clients is an honor I deeply value. I believe everyone has the potential to live their best life and look forward to meeting you.
