Hi, I’m Norell Cortez, ACSW#131549
I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Associate Clinical Social Worker with a passion for helping others discover their strengths through trauma-informed care. My approach is rooted in warmth, cultural humility, and a strengths-based perspective. I believe that every person already has what they need to thrive — sometimes it just takes support, reflection, and guidance to uncover those strengths.
My journey in mental health began with earning a Bachelor’s degree in Child and Adolescent Development in 2023, followed by a Master of Social Work degree from California State University, Fullerton in 2025. Throughout my clinical experience, I have provided mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and life stressors. I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches and tailor my work to meet each client’s unique needs and goals.
I strive to create a comfortable, welcoming space where you can feel safe working through hardships while also celebrating your progress and wins along the way. Whether you are navigating stress, healing from past experiences, or simply seeking additional support, I am here to walk alongside you. I look forward to being part of your journey.
